Berlin, July 13 (Reuters) - England will face Spain in Sunday's Euro 2024 final in Berlin after beating the Netherlands 2-1 in the semi-final on Wednesday.
The Three Lions are hoping to win their first major tournament since the 1966 World Cup, while Spain are looking to add to their tally of three European Championship titles.
Spain have been the more impressive side in the tournament so far, winning all six of their matches and scoring 15 goals in the process.
They have also conceded just two goals, which is the best defensive record in the competition.
England, on the other hand, have been more inconsistent. They lost their opening match of the tournament to Croatia, but have since won four of their five matches, including a 2-0 victory over Germany in the last 16.
The match is expected to be a close one, with both teams having their own strengths and weaknesses
Spain will be relying on their possession-based style of play, while England will be looking to hit them on the counter-attack.
The match will be played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday, July 16.
